Meet Dr. Jasmin Anthony, LPC

Finding the right therapist is its own kind of vulnerable step, and I don’t take it lightly that you are here.

My Background

I hold a Ph.D. in Counseling & Psychological services, a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and Bachelors in Psychology from Regent University and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. My approach draws from a range of therapeutic modalities, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), and I’m certified in TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).

My clinical path has moved through state inpatient units, municipal government settings, and outpatient practices. This guides how I show up with clients now: steady, attentive , and never assuming one approach fits everyone.

Population & Specialty

I work with individuals ages 18 and up. Whether you are navigating a life transition, anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, women’s health, or emotion regulation, I am here to help you find steadier ground. Therapy to me is less about fixing what is “wrong” and more about building the internal room to breathe, understand yourself, and heal at your own pace.

How I Work

I bring a warm, collaborative presence to the sessions. You can expect a space that is honest, unhurried, and genuinely curious about your experience, not just your symptoms. Sessions are held virtually, so you can do the sessions anywhere in Virginia, in a quiet, secure location that feels safest to you.

A Few Things to Note

  • I cannot conduct sessions with anyone who is outside the state of Virginia.

  • I am unable to prescribe medications.

  • I do not provide custody, court, or adhd evaluations.

  • If crisis services are needed please call 911, text 988, or go to your local emergency room.
